1. In the year 2024 DIET Sohra became the first DIET in the State to be selected by the Government of India, Ministry of Education (Department of School Education and Literacy) for up gradation as a Centre of Excellence.

2. Winning the First Prize in the Cultural Program organized by the Office of the SDO (C ), Sohra Civil Sub Division as part of the Independence Day Celebration 2024.
