The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Resubelpara, was established in September 2000 and commenced its Regular Training Course in the academic year 2001. Initially operating under the East Garo Hills District, DIET Resubelpara transitioned to the newly formed North Garo Hills District in July 2012, with Resubelpara as its district headquarters. The Institute presently offers a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) Course for pre-service candidates and conducts various training programs for in-service teachers under CSS and SSA. With a team of qualified teaching staff and support personnel, the Institute provides a comprehensive learning environment, including curricular and co-curricular activities, to foster the holistic development of student teachers. Since its inception, DIET Resubelpara has been a valuable resource for pre-service and in-service teachers in East and North Garo Hills districts, as well as the state of Meghalaya.
